Frequently Asked Questions

Product selection, custom requirements and purchasing enquiries.

Product Selection & Fitment

How do I identify the correct replacement part?

Provide the product or reference number, equipment brand and model, and clear photographs of the existing part. Dimensions and connection details help us review the match. A similar appearance alone does not confirm fitment.

What information is needed to select a hose?

Share the fluid being transferred, working temperature and pressure, hose dimensions, connection type and installation environment. Include movement, vibration or space restrictions where relevant. Requirements are reviewed for the individual application.

Are all hoses suitable for the same fluids and temperatures?

No. Material, reinforcement and construction affect compatibility and operating limits. Use the specification agreed for the selected product rather than assuming that a cooling, intake, oil-resistant or diesel hose is interchangeable.

What if I cannot find my part in the online catalog?

Send the part number, equipment model, photographs or a drawing through our enquiry form. The online catalog may not include every available item; the team can review your requirements.

Engineering & Custom Requirements

Can I discuss a custom product or OEM requirement?

Yes. Share the application, dimensions or drawing, material requirements and expected quantities. Tooling, sampling and production feasibility can then be discussed for the proposed component.

Can you work from a drawing or an existing sample?

A drawing or sample can be used as a starting point for review. Critical dimensions, tolerances, material and performance requirements still need to be defined. Sample shipping and any development costs should be agreed with the team.

Can I request samples before placing a production order?

Ask for samples in your enquiry. Availability, sample quantity, charges, shipping and lead time depend on the product and whether custom tooling or development is required.

Purchasing & Delivery

What should I include in a quotation request?

Include the product or reference number, equipment model, quantity, destination and any technical or documentation requirements. For a custom part, add a drawing, sample information or dimensions.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimum order quantity depends on the product, stock availability and manufacturing requirements. Provide your intended quantity so the team can confirm suitable supply terms.

How long does production or delivery take?

Lead time is confirmed for the specific order. Existing parts, custom tooling, samples, order volume and transport arrangements can affect the schedule. Please share your required delivery date when requesting a quote.

How are shipping and payment terms arranged?

Shipping, packaging, payment and trade terms are agreed in the quotation or order confirmation. Include the destination and your preferred arrangements so they can be reviewed.

Technical Information & Quality

What is the difference between a catalog and a datasheet?

A catalog helps you browse product families, images, models and reference numbers. A datasheet describes one product or defined series, with relevant dimensions, materials, operating requirements and document revisions where available.

Can I request testing or certification documents?

Specify the product, required standard and documents needed by your purchasing team. The available documentation and applicable scope can then be confirmed. Certification of a manufacturing system does not replace an individual product specification.

What if a supplied part does not meet the agreed requirements?

Contact the team with the order reference, product model and a description of the issue. Include photographs, measurements or relevant test information so the concern can be reviewed against the agreed specification.
